Sadhita has been practising yoga and meditation from the
Buddhist tradition, for more than 20 years. He trained in London and
then in India as a yoga teacher. During
this week the Buddhist meditation tradition and Hatha Yoga will be brought
together. Sadhita, the trainer, has 13 year experience in teaching yoga
and is himself a devoted Buddhist. The objective of this week is to
reconnect with your inner peace and to do this through recognising peace
in nature. In the hectic world of today with all the information that
surrounds us we sometimes do not pay enough attention to the inner quiet
self. In yoga and meditation we increase awareness of details in body
and thought. The stunning nature of Sacarest helps you to appreciate the
silence and peace that you can also find in yourself with the help of
yoga and meditation. Furthermore will Sadhita give you technical and
practical knowledge in these practices. The workshop is suitable for
beginners and experts as well. During your stay here we will practice
yoga and meditation, make walks in the mountains, experience guided
relaxation, sing mantras, listen to Sadhita talk about consciousness and
enjoy good vegetarian Mediterranean food. At Sacarest we practice the Dana principle. Dana is
central in Buddhism and translated from Sanskrit it means 'to give
generously'. You decide yourself how much your stay and participation to
the workshop worth is, how you want to support the Sacarest community
and how you want to translate that into a financial donation. There are
no fixed prices. Dana is an exercise in gratitude and trust. It puts
confidence before fear, it focusses on dividing instead of 'everything
for me', we base it on 'what you have to give' instead of 'what I
deserve'. More information you can find
here You can sign up for this workshop by sending an e-mail
to us and make your reservation by paying the € 150 registration fee. Understanding of the English language is sufficient for
participation in this workshop. (If you understood this text, your
English is sufficient).
Sadhita has been practising yoga for almost 20 years and
teaching for 12 years.
